Here was one by Dan Kester of Tucson, to his future Self ...

Hey, hope life is still treating you well. Here are some things you wanted me to remind you of from the past...

  1. Be yourself, trust yourself. Have courage to live your own life and not someone else's idea of what you should be.
  2. Yes, you are the creator of your thoughts, you can, at any time quit thinking thoughts that bother you. Would you keep watching a movie that you hated?
  3. Your thoughts drive your feelings. don't like how you are feeling? Change your thoughts! Thoughts CREATE - really!
  4. Live to be happy, never trade it for the need to be right. Peace of mind is paramount.
  5. Live to be, not to have. Be in the present moment. Most of your troubles are in the past and future. Now just is.
  6. Be proactive in your life. Let others react!
